Sunny Meadows Daycare
A School Day For Forty Dogs
Sunny Meadows is our weekday daycare programme for dogs who need more than a walk while their families work. Each morning, forty regulars arrive to find their playgroup already matched by size, age and energy — from bouncy adolescents to gentle seniors who prefer sniff strolls.
The Challenge
Mixed-age group play can overwhelm shy dogs and overexcite young ones. We needed a routine that tired everyone out without tipping any dog over threshold.
Our Approach
We split the day into four rhythms — free play, sniff walk, puzzle lunch, then enforced naps — with a maximum of eight dogs per carer. Puppies and seniors follow a gentler track with extra rest, and every dog's day is logged on an evening report card.
The Outcome: Calmer Evenings
Families report settled, sleepy dogs and fewer chewed cushions. Our rebooking rate sits above 90%, and the webcam rooms are the most-watched page on our site.
